The Aquatic and Education Center was born out of a philosophy that those with disabilities have as much potential and capabilities as anyone else and should have access to them. The Aquatic & Education Center was a vision that came from a demand; for those who have disabilities to have access to an aquatic and education center focused on their needs and inclusive with our community. In the works since 2014, the Aquatic & Education Center is home to the ONLY fully handicapped accessible swimming pool for people with disabilities in the region. Additionally, the Aquatic & Education Center is home to our Early Intervention offices, serving children 0-3, and the Cox Communications Dietary Center, providing courses in nutrition to families and caregivers of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
